Shipping policy
Processing and Handling:
- Typically, we process orders within 24 hours, although, please allow up to 48 hours for order processing and handling during high order volume times such as holidays. It's important to remember that processing times are separate from shipping times.
High Volume of Orders:
- During periods of high order volume, there may be delays in shipments. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during such times. If a significant delay is expected, we will reach out to you via email or telephone to provide an update.
Shipping Method:
- Enjoy free shipping on orders totaling $100 or more, which defaults to USPS Ground Advantage. Shipping times for Ground Advantage typically range from 2 to 8 days, with an average of 3 days. If you need your order to arrive even faster, we offer paid expedited shipping options at checkout. For orders under $100 that do not meet the free shipping threshold, you can select your preferred shipping option. Please be aware that once the package is in transit, we have no control over delivery times. Rest assured, you will receive an email from SLICE Cutlery with your tracking number and shipment details.
- Sharpening shipments are free but require SLICE Cutlery generated labels and tracking.
Optional Insurance and Signature Requirement:
- Customers have the option to add insurance or require a signature for their packages during the checkout process. We are not responsible for replacing products lost, stolen, or damaged during shipment by the courier. This service is available at the customer's discretion and is not included in the standard shipping cost.
Lost or Stolen Packages:
- In the event of a lost package, please contact SLICE Cutlery to initiate a claim with the courier. We will not ship a replacement item until the courier contacts us about the claim. To minimize the risk of theft, consider using a business address, selecting the 'require a signature' option, or choosing a secure delivery location. SLICE Cutlery is not liable for stolen or misdelivered packages.

- Returns should be initiated within 30 days of the purchase and must be accompanied by either the receipt or the order number. To qualify for a return, items must be in an unused and resalable condition, including all original contents. It's important to remember that the item's packaging, separate from shipping boxes, envelopes, and materials, is considered an integral part of the product.
Incorrect Shipping Address or Address Changes:
- Items are shipped to the address provided by the customer to SLICE Cutlery. If a customer's address changes or becomes invalid, and as a result, the product is lost or delivered to an irretrievable address, the customer is solely responsible for any loss incurred. If a package is returned to us ("returned to sender"), the customer is responsible for the shipping cost to resend it.
